Vincent Tula

most recently directed “Year of the Slut” which won the Audience Choice Award at The Frigid Festival in New York City 2011. Recent directing credits include, “Dismantling Self” with Collective Movement at Highway Performance Space, “CODA” at Hollywood Fringe 2010, “Electricidad” and “Scapino” at Los Angeles High School of the Arts and “140”, “One for the Road” and “New World Order” at California Institute of the Arts. Some of his other work has been shown at MOMA, Columbia University and Chashama Theater in NYC, as well as SXSW, Tribeca and Chicago International Film Festivals. Vincent has taught at Los Angeles High School of the Arts and is a creative consultant with LA Dance Company, Collective Movement. He holds a BA from Rutgers University, a MFA from CalArts and is a member of the first graduating MFA class selected by Travis Preston, current dean of CalArts.
