A *powerfully* performed work of hilarity and pathos. It stuck with me for quite a while after. This play is a very human, empathetic take on a profoundly difficult subject. I loved it.... full review

SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE LAST ACT

An excellent -- and surprisingly moving -- exploration of the *thoughts* and of Holmes during some of the "greatest hits" that Watson put out in the world, which he / Doyle never shared. We know Holmes' *actions* during those recorded events, and now we know the *feelings* of the man who claims to have none experienced.... full review

AFGHANISTAN IS NOT FUNNY

As deeply informative as it is darkly funny, in this crisp, sharp performance Henry manages to examine his own privilege while he slowly exposes the audience to increasing levels of empathy as his own experiences open up his Western eyes to the bigger picture.... full review

An outstanding roam through the life and relationship of an immigrant / Welsh couple forced to take the plunge into trying their luck with the myth of America. This play doesn't just speak to an 1800s Welsh (or other RDW immigrant experience). It speaks to all who loved and believed in the potentiality of the future. At times it feels like you're watching / listening to Poetry in Motion *because that's what they're doing* on that bare stage.... full review

Like nothing ever I've experienced before. It was an immersive 1 on 1 (because time of day I was the only one in audience). It was fun. It was uncomfortable at times. It was AMAZING. This dude *ROCKS*. Also took me a while to realize he could hear me talking to myself throughout the whole thing. <Boop!>... full review

Livin' the Dream (a journalistic journey)

An entertaining series of anecdotes by a man who is living a much broader life than most, recreating himself as time and circumstance require. It's very much a work in progress by a first time performer, and a good first draft/solid effort.... full review

The People VS Hell Kross

This delightful tribute to the era when hair metal and satanic panic were at their zenith has a killer cast (that can *actually* play their instruments *and* sing well) throwing down a script that manages to wink at nostalgia while being quite relevant to current issues. It was Super Fun! \m/... full review

I have never in all my years of being audience in live theater seen something quite like this show, as far as the automated technical demands Hemmings & Jenay have to be Absolutely On Point With to pull it off. And they are! And it is HYSTERICAL. Note to future audiences: when the projection asks if you, the audience, would like one more / an encore? SAY YES WITH YOUR APPLAUSE to bring them back out on stage for the encore piece. Trust Me On This.... full review
