F'kin kick ass & powerful!!
We saw the opening night show & quickly bought tickets to see it again at the end of the run. I rarely if ever do that, lol.
Like many, supporting a talented friend is what brought us here. For us, that was Ayla Barreau. And this role... WOW!
I have known her for over 10 years & was literally blown away. This was by far the best thing I have ever seen her in. She embodied her character so honestly that she took me to emotional places I never anticipated - from l...

Just. WOW! I can not say enough about this show.
It is not easy to write about such a complicated, triggering subject matter with so much humor & heart. As a rape survivor myself, to catch myself laughing? And then welling up with tears by the end... this is easily the best stage production I've ever seen in regards to the survivors perspective, while also showing how commonplace this kind of thing has sadly become. Still resonating days later. I truly felt seen. Powerful!

Loved this little piece so very much! Such a heartfelt, intriguing story of a very different part of Vietnam than I knew little to nothing about. Vivi's performance was so completely endearing -- leaning into the energy of each of her family members as they encountered roadblock after roadblock but did not break. Very powerful. Left me & everyone I spoke with wanting more....

Just WOW!
I can be pretty picky, but this is an absolute Master Class. And I saw the preview performance!
It has actually been a couple weeks now-- I know, it's been a crazy busy month-- but even still, while others have come close, this remains hands down the best thing I've seen this Fringe!
Nicole & James take you from laughter to tears as you ride the rollercoaster that is these characters existence. And holy pineapple pizza! I LOVE their friendship!!
My heart literally broke watchin...

Just. WOW! This show literally left me speechless.
Sooo incredibly powerful! I was on board from the first moment for this heartbreaking journey. I laughed. I sobbed. I even jumped out of my seat at one point, because I was so right there with him. And I was gifted with some much needed chocolate!
This show is so poignant & timely. And definitely NOT to be missed. Stories like this happen way more often than we want to believe, yet they are not shown in the news or anything main stream hardly...

Love love LOVED this show!!! Such a captivating and compelling journey through bullying & growing up, acted with immense vulnerability and childhood wonder. I was only able to go to camp for a couple years growing up, but this brought me right back to those magical summers.
Michelle doesn't hold anything back in this in your face ride that kept me on the edge of my seat from the moment she stepped on stage.
My heart broke with Michelle as she struggled to understand her dad leaving, topped wi...

This show is breathtaking & an absolute MUST SEE!
From the moment the lights came up, I was instantly captivated. Ty was so very present and his turmoil, heartbreaking. He encapsulated it all on such a personal level that made his struggle even more relatable. The conflict with his inner voices erupted into emotion that pulsed through him into dance and movement. Sooo powerful!

Just. WOW!
Heather Dowling takes a very personal subject & weaves in both heart felt humanity & light hearted comedy in a way that only she could.
As a woman over 30, I can't count how many times I get asked when I am planning on having kids. Whether you want them or not -- people somehow feel entitled to ask you. Heather tapped into her own vulnerability with truth and transparency ... I just can't say enough.
A definite MUST SEE rollercoaster that brings the audience from laughter to ...
