GETTING THERE! Winner! BEST SOLO SHOW! 2023

robert ditillio · June 19, 2023 certified reviewer
I had seen parts of this show before, so I knew it was going to be funny. What got me though was how emotional and touching the show was. Rebecca draws you in with her impersonations of the people she meets on the bus and then laughs along with you at their quirky personalities. Then through her own emotional responses, she makes the audience really care about these people. Brilliant!... full review

THE SLEEPOVER is a delightful, light-hearted immersive show which transports the audience back in time to their childhood years as they participate in a sleepover party held by pre-teen Mikey and his adolescent sister, Louise. The show is both comical and heartwarming, with lots of genuinely funny moments. It takes you right out of today’s difficult world and sends you back to a simpler, more innocent time. It’s a great way to relax and forget about any troubles for an hour!... full review

Eric Billitzer takes us on a concise and humorous journey through some of Shakespeare’s monologues. On the way, he explains and performs several monologues, and intersperses that with thoughts on Shakespeare from a modern-day perspective, while also sprinkling in stories from his personal life. Kelly Mullis brings Marilyn Monroe to life in an amazing performance that is all at once moving, informative and funny. From her first moment on stage, Mullis grabs the audience's attention with Marilyn's dry wit and humor. After that, it's an incredible ride through Marilyn's life showcasing her relationships, struggles, hopes and fears that never lags and is always engaging. Mullis embodies Marilyn physically, vocally and emotionally so completely that you feel as though you're watching the re... full review

Trafficked 2.0

This is a well done and powerful show that tackles a difficult subject in a very creative way. And when I say difficult, I mean it's difficult to watch what happens to the women in this show because we all know it's something that happens for real every day, even if it hasn't happened to anyone we know personally. Trafficked 2.0 handles this in a unique way. All the scenes of brutality are presented with mood lighting, music, movement and dance. This enables the audience to be affected by the... full review
