Love, Love, LOVE THIS SHOW! Megan is a phenomenal storyteller, transitioning effortlessly from character to character as she shares her insightful, brave story. What I love most about Megan's writing is that she never forces any opinions on her audience. There are no statements made...she doesn't guide you to feel any one way about her story..she simply tells it - mostly through the eyes of her 8 year old self...And what's so beautiful about that kind of writing is that we get to decided for ou... full review

King of Kong: A Musical Parody

LAUREN AND BRENDAN ARE AMAZING. They carried this entire musical by playing every character just between the two of them! And they did it effortlessly. It never looked like hard work. Even at the end of the show, they didn't even seem out of breath! AFTER SINGING FOR AN HOUR STRAIGHT AND PRACTICALLY NEVER LEAVING THE STAGE! That is a feat in and of itself. The writing is fantastic. The songs are catchy. The premise is so adorably sad and funny. Hard to believe this actually happened! I... full review

This show was so much fun! The production design is otherworldly, the score is beautiful, the performances are funny, nuanced, and bold. I absolutely loved Kat! Her singing is lovely and would make for a great indie album. All of the performers sang beautifully. I especially loved Altise's performance. Super funny and daring. And the actor who played Bido was so captivatingly honest. I really felt for his imprisonment and loss of his home planet. I think this would make a kick ass sci-fi... full review

THIS SHOW IS PHENOMENAL. Captivating performances TIMES TWO! The Hinkler sisters are incredible actresses who bring this heartbreaking story to life with every ounce of their being. Their is so much bravery happening on that stage, I felt like my heart grew just watching them. The writing is superb. The premise is fascinating and heart wrenching all at once. I found myself feeling so very grateful that we live in the time that we do with the freedoms that we have. After the show was over, ... full review

THIS SHOW IS AWESOME! I couldn't stop laughing. And yet, this isn't just Shakespeare's greatest love story "ruined by a couple of jerks." Nope. It's expertly performed by two actresses who truly know their craft and use the text so beautifully. I've always been taught that in order to find freedom in performing you must first know and respect the structure of what you are performing in. Because they are so phenomenal at utilizing and understanding the text, they are able to run completely w... full review

I loved this show! Wonderfully written and excellently performed by Ryan Vincent Anderson. I learned so much about the legendary Ira Aldridge through Anderson's raw, brave, grounded, yet emotionally explosive performance. I was fascinated and inspired by the history and reminded just how much of a privilege it is to perform onstage…especially when diverse artists like Aldridge had to fight so hard for their place in the performing arts. I loved how Aldridge was played not as a superhero or p... full review

Heather Dowling is an unstoppable force of light in this heart wrenchingly honest and brave one woman show. Her acting is so deeply heartfelt and I was moved to both tears and laughter throughout the span of the entire performance. Heather takes you through the journey of her adolescence, a time when she effortlessly fell into the path of her dreams and felt a deep calling to perform on the stage and recreates an upsetting encounter with her high school counselor who advises her to choose a saf... full review

This show broke my heart open. Joseph Valdez's writing is extraordinary and his performance is incredible. The energy soars from the very first line to the beautiful ending. Told from the perspective of a brave little boy's imagination, little Joe takes you into his world like an electric bolt of lightening. It was so much fun to see him battle the bullies of his apartment complex accompanied by his beloved cookie monster wagon. I was reminded of being a child and how much bigger the world ... full review

This show was my favorite comedic ensemble piece in the Fringe this year! From the moment the clowns give the curtain speech to turn off your cell phones to the very last curtain call, I could not stop laughing. I especially loved the production design and feel of the show. This show is excellently done with wonderful clowning by adept actors, impressive acrobatics, and hysterical writing. I loved every minute of it! The entire cast was extraordinary, but I must say the brother and sister duo... full review

Jenn Bobiwash gives an incredible performance in this exceptional one woman show. Her fearless storytelling pulls you into a truly raw and candid world of identity. Coming from a multiracial family, myself, I felt instantly connected to Jenn's own journey. Where do we fit in? What makes us who we are? When are we truly accepted by the cultures we may not have been raised with but are still identified by? Jenn's show explores the question of what makes us who we are and which part of our cul... full review
