It's hard to overcome a strong memory like the one that Howard Rollins, Adolf Caesar, Denzel Washington, left in the film version of "A Soldier's Story" but this cast made me forget for a night. To a man, they were pitch perfect. Great use of a small stage integrated the flashbacks seamlessly. I was impressed.... full review

Tracers

Tracers is a heavy memory of The Vietnam War. I'm from that time and had so many friends who came back so deeply changed that I barely recognized them. The play is wonderfully staged and acted. The music, the dialog, the staging took me back to the point I got lost in it... full review

This is such a good show. It tackles a hard issue, eating disorders, and turns it into a funny, faced-paced, and moving evening's entertainment. April Morrow, the writer/director, and her wonderful cast have won my heart over. If you have to narrow your list of plays to see, make sure Catalyst makes the final cut. You won't be sorry.... full review
