It's common to lower one's expectations for any fringe festival show where the lo-fi, thrown-together nature of the performances is part of the experience, but there is no need to do so for And Her Children. It's a fully realized work of theatre.

This was a really great show! A real short play, not a long sketch. A depressive episode has rarely been this entertaining. Appropriate length for the concept, which never wore out it's welcome. The production design was EXCELLENT and elevated the black box setting way beyond what audiences are used to. Much of the Shakespearean canon has been done so many times, and so famously, that actors and directors will inevitably be influenced by prior interpretations for good or ill.
