Evan Marshall is an LA-based actor, writer, filmmaker and vocalist.
Writing primarily for independent film and theatre, his dramas and dark comedies work towards contemporary styles and themes of social surrealism, acid marxism, proletarian subjectivity, mass culture, alienation, violence and the transcendental.
His plays have been staged at Theatre of Note, where he also works as a literary and development director.
Some favorite past acting roles include Melchior in Spring Awakening, Solomon in Speech and Debate, Bat Boy in Bat Boy: The Musical and Jaques in As You Like It.
He is the creator and co-host of the podcast Parasocial Movie Friends.
