Easy Targets

I saw both the men's and women's night of this production, and they were both an absolute blast. These shows are cathartic, in a couple of ways. First, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. My face hurt. Second, you get to throw socks at the performers, while they perform the best of the worst one-person shows. So, if you've ever felt the need to punish a terrible one-person performer, or you just need to get out a little stress, there's nary a better way to do it. But backing up...when I ... full review

This is a beautifully written, intelligently staged, brilliantly performed and moving piece of theater. My Fringe favorite so far, I was physically unable to keep myself from leaping to my feet after the show. I was so moved I could barely speak. Don't let the tag "movement theater" scare you, this play should not be missed. I wholeheartedly agree with others who have said it should be touring, everywhere. It will hit you in the gut, make you laugh, cry and most importantly, it will make you thin... full review

Not much more to say that hasn't been said here already. My favorite of the fringe so far. Absolutely hilarious and the kids are ridiculously good, playing both the truth of their 'actor' characters, handling the Shakespeare with flair and showing everyone whst great timing is. Your jaw will be on the floor with how wonderfully wrong this is, while crying with laughter. Must see. ... full review

Powerful, raw, real performances by this dynamic duo. A script that makes you wonder, and moves like a bat out of hell. Both of these guys keeps you glued to your seat, while pushing it to the edge. Michael Shaw Fisher, who never disappoints, reveals yet another layer with his nuanced, crafted performance. A powerful hour.... full review

NILBOG: the unauthorized musical parody of Troll 2

A ridiculous romp of non-stop rowdy raucous revelry. If you are a fan of bad films, and particularly the gem that is Troll 2 (there are no trolls in it!), then this is the musical parody for you. Scenery is chewed splendidly, as it should be. You'll probably want to have a couple drinks, eat some green tinted popcorn, and let loose with the rest of the crowd. You'll have as much fun as the cast clearly is having. ... full review

Time Stands Still

With a script of this caliber, you have a great launching point. This production took that and shot it into the stratosphere. Every performance from this cast of 4 was spot on, honest, interesting and compelling. There was no suspension of disbelief with the characters or relationships, it was pure belief, as these talented actors breathed beautiful life and honesty into each moment. The direction was crisp, and the on stage pacing kept things moving at a beautifully breakneck pace, where every t... full review

Sleeping Around

I saw the first preview of this production and I would definitely recommend it. The blazing pace and excellent comedic chops of the cast don't overshadow the deeper, truthful heart of this emotionally engaging puzzle. We are introduced to only 2 characters at a time, learning about their particular relationship as each scene unfolds. You are given just enough to make you think you understand who they are, but when they appear in other scenes with different partners, new discoveries are made e... full review
