I can't stop raving about this show. An original concept and I am so glad I got to see all that imagination on stage. It was perfectly entertaining. My son got me a ticket and I saw the last performance. He wasn't able to attend because of a commitment. I thank him for telling me I needed to go.... full review

Three Eulogies for Tyson Miller

dionysius vlachos · June 19, 2026 certified reviewer
A well made drama with strong writing and acting. The three characters in this play are brought to life with incredible acting. The play is almost dream like in the sense that we seamlessly drift in and out of different timelines. The play poses the question "What is a legacy and how should people be remembered?"... full review

Rosie's Turn

For lovers of cabaret and Broadway musicals, Kelly Krauter’s “Rosie’s Turn” stands in a light where few can follow. Teetering on a pinnacle between brilliant and silly, this show about a Broadway wanna-be and a tap-dancing subway rat that steals her thunder is masterfully crafted and deliciously danced and sung by Krauter, who is not only a musical revelation all her own, but also bears an amazing resemblance to Liza Minnelli. Loaded with sight gags and Broadway/show tune Easter eggs, “Rosie’s Tu... full review

The Great Marzini

My overall impression is that the lead, Marisa, truly showcases her range as a multi-hyphenate performer. The show included so much more than I expected: singing, magic, improv, clowning, and genuine dramatic vulnerability. I was also impressed by Marisa's storytelling and writing. The piece feels imaginative and emotionally engaging. I could easily see it finding an audience at the Edinburgh Fringe or The Elysian's Spaghetti Festival in Los Angeles!... full review

Waiting for [Gal] Gadot by Jake Thomas

The show was a lovely surprise. I did not know what to expect going in, but I know the director as very creative and honest person, so I knew the audience would be in good hands. It was very funny, well paced and the only thing that outweighed it's anxiety was it's heart. I highly recommend.... full review

Visually stunning, tightly rehearsed, silly, creepy, delightful clowning. This production is just SO whole-ass: the soundtrack is incredible, the set design was outrageously polished, the lighting was perfect, the costumes and frickin PUPPETRY. Aye aye aye. And I mean, duh, the performances. Stunning. Comparisons to the 3 Stooges are well-made. Every clown in LA should be required to come see this show so they know where the bar is.... full review

Brain Eviction (A Comedy)

susan deming · June 19, 2026 certified reviewer
This is the kind of play a precocious 11-year-old girl with the brain of a brilliant Millennial might create. It’s raw and immediate; silly and improvisational and sometimes the seams show which makes it so unique and compelling to watch. It’s a playground for smart, versatile performers to explore the limits of their broad skillsets and theatre traditions (including paper bag skit costuming and musical theatre choreography). It’s so free, imaginative and un-self-conscious, but still packs a punc... full review

Incredible show! I felt compelled to write this review because of how I impressed I was with this piece. I was completely captivated and invested in the story. Tremendous writing with the ability to be concise (at about 50 minutes) while providing such depth, creativity and pace, all wrapped in a brilliant concept. Wonderful job creating the environment with such simplicity. The actors very much brought these beings to life and I was honored to experience the journey. GO SEE STRANGE BEINGS... full review
