A beautiful expression of childhood, parent-child relationships, the Puerto Rican experience, feeling different as though you do not belong in the boxes society provides… overall about the human experience. This show is a delight! The songs are SO catchy and Sam performs them with such endearing sincerity. She takes us on a journey from a starry eyed hopeful girl moving to LA with a dream, to a weathered comedy writer struggling with depression, and ultimately lands on a beautiful message of self acceptance.
