I was BLOWN AWAY! Through humor, The Abyss tackles the way we feel when we lose control of our lives and the people in them. It's a show that's deeply personal and surprisingly universal. I don't want to spoil anything, but in 50 minutes, Brendan does what most artists couldn't do in a day! Emily's direction is subtle and beautiful. I've been a fan of Brendan's stand up for years, but this show takes things to a whole different level. I laughed. I cried. I questioned myself. GO SEE THIS SHOW! ... full review

Charlie takes a character we barely care about in one of the most famous plays ever written and imbues him with humor, heart, pathos, and oh, did I mention humor?! He's a master Shakespearean actor who's also busting out the best dance moves at Fringe! “My One Woman Show” not only had complex and unique story and character arcs that kept me thinking/guessing the first 3/4 of the way through the performance, but paid off these themes and narrative in the back 1/4-in a way I didn’t see coming.
