I loved the phone call game!
The side characters were specific and easy to identify.
The childlike games of going back to a safe place was painful and sweet.
What I didn't like
There are so many rich topics in this play, for example, religion, identity, queerness, time, that some topics weren’t explored as much as others.
I encourage doubling down on one story vs telling 3 and trusting that everything else will live within the text already present.
My overall impression
Heavy, dense, uncomfortable conversations of identity, love, and what to do when faced with running out of time contained in a safe, charming, inviting, environment, with strong undertones of comedy.
