This show made me feel a range of emotions from the depths of sadness to pure joy. My face hurt at the end of this from all the laughing and genuine smiles. Honestly, I have always avoided anything to do with “clowning”. Now I know I just saw the wrong things. Claire is an open nerve and her show had a profound effect on me. It's so rare that I see a show that changes the way I view performance in general, and A Retrospection is one of them. Claire is so beautifully funny and wildly creative. The show is absurdist comedy with raw, honest self-examination. She is a fascinating artist and spectacle and I can't wait to see what she does in Edinburgh. Go see this show! ... full review
