I knew nothing about the play going in, which is how I recommend seeing it. The writing is so superb, the journey with these two characters is unexpected, humbling and gut wrenching. The lights came up, and I literally couldn’t speak, couldn’t make any sound for quite a few moments. The performances are profound, vulnerable, and brutally effective.
What I didn't like
I have a question about the placement of chairs/rules of awareness, and wonder if a different choice could stronger define the (non-linear) world we’re in. But that’s literally it, placement of chairs.
My overall impression
This is an extremely effective, brilliantly acted, not to be missed show. The actors sweat blood and tears on that stage, both delivering astonishing, heart breaking performances. Some of the best acting and writing I’ve seen in many years of Fringe. Get your ticket now before this sells out.
