I went into this with no knowledge of the play, nor any expectation for how it would be performed. I was blown away. Hailey's performance is so captivating, funny, sad, strong, and tragic. I was spellbound from start to finish. I highly highly recommend seeing this show!!... full review

The story is fucked up---visceral, gag-inducing, and very sad---But it’s also laugh-out-loud HILARIOUS. It reminds me of Martin McDonagh and Trainspotting, so if you like that sort of thing you will LOVE this. It had me feeling a lot, laughing a lot, and floored by the mastery of it all!... full review

I have never really seen a one person show that has felt so personal, detailed, complicated and specific. Hailey is an absolute powerhouse and delivers gut wrenching emotion while also maintaining a true sense of charisma and watchability. It is personal but never self indulgent, witty but never hammy, and truly a JOY to watch. ... full review

It doesn't get much better than this. Hailey McAfee delivers a performance full of rage and hurt as Effie. From the moment we take our seats, she's there, holding her juice box, seething, we can feel it with every passing second. From the first lighting cue she is released, like an arrow being loosed. Her anger hits us right in the face, she's come to collect a debt, a debt that we owe her. She doesn't apologize for who she is. She passes her days by drinking to the point of debilitation and generally being an angry shit until she lets her guard down and gives something of herself, lets herself feel something for the first time in a long time.... full review

Hailey McAfee's portrayal of Effie was absolutely astounding. I don't normally love solo shows but this one had me hooked from the start and I feel sorry for those who weren't able to see it.... full review

This play is raw, brutal, hilarious, and heartbreaking. Hailey delivers an incredible performance. Her vacillation between hardened intensity and tender vulnerability was absolutely captivating. I won't be forgetting this show anytime soon.... full review
