This show is part historical anthology, part autobiography, and all heart. I learned about some really cool trans icons, but most importantly, I got to hear Laser's story straight from him in musical form, and I was really touched by the opportunity. I also laughed a lot!...

My favorite thing about Laser is that while he is technically performing, he's also just being fully himself. Incredibly sharp, effortlessly funny, and charming as all get out. This show is a creative love note to the pop-culture that guided him and the history that liberated him, and it's a joy of a journey to go on, but all of it rests on the capable shoulders of a truly special performer. ...

Laser is hilarious, thoughtful, vulnerable and powerful in this show - and not just when he destroys the ghost of JK Rowling with an articulate take down of transphobia. This performance is filled with reflections of Laser's gender journey full of joyful song and dance, clever quips and heartfelt honesty. He shakes out the concept of a rigid gender binary and shows us what an authentic life feels like when you find the strength within you and love around you - do not miss!...

It’s such a delight to see someone sure of themselves and confident in their considerable abilities take time to play and connect with an audience. Laser takes us through a rocket powered (well tardis powered) survey of some historical trans figures en route to knowing and appreciating his own trans self, with fun projections and heartwarming songs. The message of “labels are only to help us connect with people” takes the “get it right!!!!” pressure off for viewers still juggling various ways of seeing themselves. ...
