The journey. I really cared about her. The directing and acting team blended so well together. I’d actually really love to see this as a short film. (If it does get made – Shotgun on playing Sal)
What I didn't like
I’d have liked her to be more grounded. There was a lot of unnecessary movement and there were definitely times where that makes sense, but it was a lot at the start so it took me out of it a little. Other than that – Great show!
My overall impression
I didn’t know what to expect going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve seen this director’s work before and he’s always solid, but this was a different kind of special from their usual stuff. It felt like I watched a solid, little indie film. I could really picture where she was and what she was doing, whom she was with. I felt for her and her journey. It had elements of The Comeback where you feel for this person but shake your head at them as well.
