Asta is a powerhouse. She's an unbelievable performer with wide emotional range and boundless energy. It was exciting (and disconcerting at times) to follow her character on such an up and down ride. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Only a seasoned performer could execute this complex of a performance with such conviction and heart and Asta does just that. ... full review

I had so much fun at this show. The work that Asta put into her character Lola is incredible. She truly disappears into this over the top struggling actress that you can't help but smile throughout the show. And as much as it is funny, this show has a lot of heart. The work between director and actor is very evident here and we the audience get taken on a wild ride that shows just how crazy things can get here in Hollywood.... full review

I didn't know what to expect going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've seen this director's work before and he's always solid, but this was a different kind of special from their usual stuff. It felt like I watched a solid, little indie film. I could really picture where she was and what she was doing, whom she was with. I felt for her and her journey. It had elements of The Comeback where you feel for this person but shake your head at them as well.... full review

Asta Leigh was obviously enthusiastic about her play, but she started out screaming and carrying on at level 10 and kept it that way for the entire time she was onstage. It's very difficult to stay at that level for so long, and when there finally was a moment where she broke down emotionally, its impact was lessened due to all the screaming that had been going on for almost an hour. Learn to adjust your levels and start at a less hectic pace and volume in order to grow your audience's interest in the story.... full review
