What I liked
The moment of singing and violin playing stood out. The actors whose work rises to the challenge are enjoyable to watch.
What I didn't like
The writing and character development in this current version doesn’t live up to the interesting premise. The structure of ‘snapshots through time’ with long scene changes soon becomes predictable with few surprises.
My overall impression
The premise of a longtime quartet dealing with the loss of a member and an unwelcome new player has interesting possibilities.
