After an early career producing, writing and hosting broadcast news (CBS, NPR) I have since made my living in performing arts, film, radio and television in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Chicago, London and Los Angeles. As a theater actor or producer, I have worked at Steppenwolf, Rogue Machine, Trap Door, 92nd St Y, Sundance, Tribeca, Palm Springs, Off West End, Inkwell, and I am member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. I became a puppeteer in 2010 as a quadruped suit performer (and later a technician) of a 75 lbs Jim Henson Creature—an adult-sized animatronic saber-toothed cat which I continue to puppeteer Thursdays at the Ice Age Encounters Theatre at The La Brea Tar Pits. I studied theater and dance at The University of Kansas and Columbia College, Chicago and am represented as an actor/voice actor by AEHF, Osbrink and Loseff Management in LA, and Grossman and Jack in Chicago.
