Masterful writing coupled with the crackerjack timing of Carrie Keranen and Peter Fluet tells you everything you need to know about the two lead characters right away. Immersion is instantaneous.
Outlandish laughs have an undercurrent of the most genuine emotion, and these two seemingly larger than life characters end up being so very relatable in the most real ways.
The story’s twists and turns are found contextually and delivered so superbly by a pitch perfect cast.
Thank you to everyone involved for such a wonderful, hilarious and moving evening!

One of the best shows I have seen in a long time. It was over the top fantastic. The writing, the acting, the pacing, the story, the timing...I was so impressed. It was a charming sweet love story and I belly laugh- guffawed almost to an embarrassing degree. I want to see it again. ...

Oh, Lorraine? OH YES!! This fantastic script by writer/actor Peter Fluet delivers in every single way. The direction and cast are exceptional. Are we all madly in love with Carrie Keranen's Lorraine?? And certainly not to be left out, the powerhouse performance by Amanda Blake Davis playing two fantastic roles?! The writing..congrats Peter. This is exceptional....

Finding a balance between wacky and heartfelt in a script can be very difficult, but Oh, Lorraine does it brilliantly! Every actor steps up to the plate and delivers hilarity with gusto. But it's Carrie Kiernan and Peter Fluet who anchor this charming and super-frickin' funny play, delivering outrageous laughs and finding wonderful levels of humanity. It's the journey of two, out-of-place and somewhat damaged people finding connection and love. It's affecting and joyful. Just go see it!!! Do it! Now!!!...

I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised that Vengeance Productions – the writer/actor/director trio of HFF16 Best Comedy Winner, Lamprey: Weekend of Vengeance – would deliver something so solidly funny on stage with OH LORRAINE! But what a fun, farcical, and tender rom-com. The writing was a joy even as it examined the possibility of a mentally impaired “Lorraine” and an unexpectedly dangerous “Del.” ...

I went in not knowing anything about the plot. The opening dinner date brilliantly drip-feeds us red flag after red flag about this couple. Wait, why is he called the "Butcher of 13th street?" And why is this lady so maniacal about "repeating" the date until she thinks it's going well?
So much of the hilarity and heart of this story springs out of moments where any normal person would flee the date (while possibly screaming at the top of their lungs), but these moments only make our leads even more attracted to each other. The weirdness of these weirdos aren't just there for us to laugh at, it surprises with a vulnerable insight that drives the entire play: Their weirdness has been what's kept them alone. (Until now!)
A bloody nightmar...
