What I liked
Nick is contemplative and darkly funny. This show is brilliant in its simplicity, and I felt that I could continue watching for hours beyond when the show ended. I’m excited to see where this show goes, and I look forward to watching what I can only assume will one day become an inevitably brilliant Netflix special.

My overall impression
As hilarious as it is sincere and reflective, this show is instantly captivating. Nick’s presence and storytelling ability is undeniable. From hamster death to substance abuse, Nick takes you on a journey through his adolescence, and challenges you to consider what a true friendship is really worth.
