What a way to start the Fringe! This was the first of the shows I intend to see, and if this is any indication of what is in store, wow, what a year this is going to be. I know what she looked like in Middle Age, and Margot Avery fills the bill. What I don't know is what she sounded like, so I imagined a more abrasive, octave-lower voice delivering her mordant couplets---and left longing to see the original, half-hour-longer version of this same material, abridged for this year's Hollywood and Edinburgh Fringe fests. ... full review

What succeeds in this homage compilation to the pioneering journalist, critic, and poet Dorothy Parker is Parker herself. For those unacquainted with Parker’s wit and life, this serves as an excellent introduction. ... full review
