What I liked
This show was superbly directed and cast very well! Each of these actors really embraced their characters’ stories and from what I could tell, did justice to what was being shared. While this show was pieced together as an ensemble show, in many ways, each person got to share their own individual experience and I loved that attention to detail was given accordingly.
What I didn't like
I hope this show gets expanded and is able to be seen more often.
My overall impression
Powerful drama. Powerful performers. Powerful directing. All-in-all, this was a gripping piece of theatre presented on a sparse set that allowed all focus to be on the words and the performance. I came in not knowing anyone involved in this show and I left very moved and more informed about some of our veterans’ experiences. Bearing witness to different narratives in what the Fringe is about – BRAVO to all involved in this show!
