I was impressed with the consistent theatrically of this piece. There was a plethora of innovative uses of the scenery and props that kept me quite engaged. I appreciate the cultural infusion that this piece provides to a well-known text, it helped to bring it some rich vitality. ... full review

This felt like Coraline x Book of Life. The story is engaging and my God it has the best set out of ANY Fringe show I've seen this year. Shoutout Rody for writing such a great story. I felt like everyone was perfect for their roles. I also really felt like their use of the stage was phenomenal and smart. This was really something special that I really enjoyed watching. I hope this play wins some awards because it was genuinely so engaging and so well done.... full review

Infierno is a hellish theatrical journey as magically absurd as it is beautifully tragic. I was amazed at the level of visual spectacle this show was able to achieve-- I would love to see this on a big stage one day. This piece explores cultural, familial, and spiritual questions, and welcomes the audience to consider their own morality and mortality. The writing, acting, and direction were all beautifully executed, and I'm truly impressed by this show! ... full review

An incredibly innocent I’ve show. The set and the staging are incredibly cool. I multiple times thought “this is what more people should be doing in theater.” Beautifully written and wonderfully acted (especially by Issac in the lead role) Roddy is an exciting new voice to the la theater scene... full review

It was horrific! It was gross! It was cathartic! It was GREAT! I remember clearly toward the end, during the song, I had to sit there and take a moment to remember that this was a live performance, that I was actually there in person, that there wasn't a screen protecting me from the emotions, that the actors were right there.... full review

A very fun ride turned absurdly entertaining by the creative team's unique touches. The concept of finding redemption far too late into someone's life is morbid and touching in it's itself yet not entirely unoriginal. However, the wackier elements of the performances (especially Alejandro Jimenez's multiple roles) and the striking direction made this play really stand out among the rest. I only worry of the play's accessibility to non-Hispanic audiences due to the dual languages the story is built on, but that is a learning experience for me. Infierno was a great experience to end my night on.... full review
