Join us with our panel of Fringe Veterans as we discuss budgeting and fundraising for a Hollywood Fringe production. We will cover everything from, what expenses to expect, how to make the most of your money, cost necessities, costs that add benefits but aren’t necessary, and of course how to raise money, crowdfunding, grants, and other funding opportunities.

This workshop is followed by Q&A.

Joy Regullano is a writer / actor / comedian based in LA who most recently wrote on the animated show MONSTERS AT WORK on Disney Plus. Previously, she wrote on JELLY, BEN, and POGO (a PBS Kids web series),, KUNG FU PANDA: DRAGON KNIGHT (Netflix / Dreamworks), the Netflix show HEALING POWERS OF DUDE, several Sesame Workshop digital shorts, and she was a Sesame Street writing fellow. TV acting credits include CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, MODERN FAMILY, SPEECHLESS, HOUSE OF LIES, and SUPERNATURAL. She has performed improv and sketch around LA at UCB and Second City Hollywood. Her YouTube sketch WHITE FETISH went viral with 1M+ views and has been featured in the Huffington Post, Upworthy, and more. Ruchi Kishore is an actor, host, producer and co-founder of “Lights, Karma Action! Productions, LLC” In August 2021, her vast experience culminated in the form of the Award-Winning Hip-Hop Bollywood Musical, Dirty Chai which had its world premiere at the 2021 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Written by and starring Kishore, Dirty Chai won three awards including a virtual performance at the Gothenburg Fringe Festival in Sweden. Kishore’s team has begun development on the feature film version of Dirty Chai (release date TBD), based on her hit musical!

Michael Gordon Shapiro writes music for movies, games, the concert hall, and the stage. Occasionally he puts pen to paper as bookwriter and lyricist as well. Theatrical projects include Gideon and the Blundersnorp (Best Musical, HFF 2021), The Bully Problem (nom. Best Musical, HFF 2019), Super Sidekick: The Musical (co-written with Gregory Crafts, and published by Concord) and the short musical anthology A Feast of Snacks (nom. Best Musical, HFF 2016).
