What I liked
The relentlessly positive messaging, the honest portrayal of addiction recovery, the catchy tunes (especially “Goodbye Angel”), and above all author Gordon Matheson’s ever-present energy and sincerity.
What I didn't like
Character plights are often described to us by Shubop when they could be dramatized (or put in song!)
It’s not always easy to follow why characters like Posco or Hope make key decisions.
My overall impression
A contemporary ballad oratorio about a struggling group of recovering addicts and their concerned guardian angel.
