My overall impression
So silly and funny and a rocking good time.
Great premise, well executed by deeply talented cast and great rock combo. Funny lyrics, and nicely sketched out characters where they are ALL wacko, but no character is portrayed in a mean-spirited way. This, I think, is a big key to the enjoyment of the show.
From the opening/preshow to the rousing reprise of the ‘Fire’ song, I was so glad to be in the theatre. And, really, there’s no reason why this show can’t play beyond its Doomsday date. I really think it’s got the makings for a cult hit.
