My overall impression
OMG! What a riot – so glad I didn’t miss it. DISCLAIMER ALERT – each portion is approximately 40 minutes long plus intermission/set change – total running time is approximately 1 hr, 45 mins long.
With that being said, both of the shows were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed Jurassic Park, especially since my friend Tara Perry was sooooo amazing in it. The show was perfectly cast, and almost resembled the original cast of the movie. The action is non-stop, funny, quirky and the best two hours you’ll ever spend anywhere!
The Lounge Theater was the perfect setting – I felt like I was on the set of a motion picture/television sitcom. The proximity to the actors helped erase the illusion of the fourth wall and brought the audience into the performance. The cast likewise had no problem passing into the audience to engage them.
Showgirls was a bomb – Lindsay Wray’s performance as Nomi was spot on – not only is she gorgeous, but she can dance, act and make you believe in her.
Don’t miss this show – you will kick yourself if you do.
