The script was witty and charming, the performances full of endearing personality. The characters all felt fleshed out and very distinct from one another.
What I didn't like
Like many young actors, the cast could project better, especially since they’re unmiced. The lyrics felt a little eccentric sometimes. (I’m not sure how many people understood the John Cage reference.)
My overall impression
Fringe is for all ages! A troupe of junior-high-age actors portray the story of an unmotivated class, and the substitute teacher who finds a way to reach them.
