It was a moving experience deeply rooted in culture, history, and most of all heart. From the moment I walked into the theatre, I felt as if I was being invited to witness a glimpse of his inner self and those that came before him. Watching Ahash transform back and forth from himself to Thileepan was captivating. The dancing was pure joy and the comedic elements added the necessary levity as the audience was educated on the tragic truth. This show encapsulated the fact that there is always beauty, even in the most difficult times. It shared the message that as long as we remember our history, whether that may be by immortalizing our ancestors through art or paying homage in other ways, we will never be made exstinct.

Ahash is a multifaceted artist and creative who commands the stage with a light that is undeniable. Through dance, music, and performance he invokes the spirit of Thileepan, and in my soul, I believe he is proud of the work Ahash has created in his honor.
