What I liked
If I can use a metaphor here – what I saw on stage was a true tapestry – well woven living images of story, choreographed movement, precise lighting and sound design, and PURE HEART! These four women are consummate professionals! And the skill with which they share their individual stories as a cohesive ensemble is a sight to behold! Brava!
What I didn't like
I hope they expand this show as I am sure it could easily be a full length piece. (Side note… my college roommate’s name was Sapna, so I know that beautiful Hindi name means “dream” and I would have loved to know what the other names mean). Perhaps that is something that can be used WHEN this show is expanded :-)
My overall impression
Female empowerment personified and brought to life straight from the “source” or yoni by four EXTREMELY gifted actresses, each formidable storytellers in their own, unique right, a top-notch, detail-specific director, and exceptional designers who highlight the best of what the Fringe can do… I declare this is a MUST SEE!! The moments of laughter coupled with moments of fear, anger, uncertainty, and exploration were so brilliantly woven together, I just applaud this team of talent and wish continued success to each and everyone involved!
