What I liked
I love the layers that peel back. There’s a sense of real in-the-moment discovery that we experience as though alongside our main character as the show progresses. Becca lets us in on the intimate awakening to her own self, which is a beautiful gift for us to be able to see and experience.
The use of video to portray the internal voices effectively enhances the overall experience.
What I didn't like
I loved it!!!
Maybe a mic on audio would have enhanced the sound, so Becca’s live vocals would equal the recorded.
My overall impression
We are carried along for the journey with this performance, experiencing the fluidity of identity, the ever-changing sense of who one is. Clever lyrics and catchy tunes are full of an earnest searching that enhances the plot. This is a life unfolding before our eyes, intimate and honest.
