Confession: I am not a huge fan of solo shows, BUT THIS ONE WAS GREAT!! I sat through the whole thing without once wondering 'how much longer?' I was totally engaged and love Rebecca so much that I feel like she's my friend already. Congratulations to Heather Dowling as well for such a well crafted show!... full review

Breathtaking! Emotional! Heartbreaking! Rewarding! Passionate! Hilarious! I could probably go on with adjectives for this show, but I won't. Let me just say this. Rebecca McGlynn is not only one of the best performers you'll see at Fringe this year, but she is one of the most talented writers I have ever met. This show covers so much ground. The depths of emotion that Becca goes to is just incredible. I found myself laughing, crying, getting angry, and feeling so much joy that I couldn't stand fast enough to applaud at the end. I can't recommend this show enough!... full review

This show sparked a change in me. Watching Rebecca's slow, subtle journey of coming out and listening to her inner (T)Ruth had me thinking about my journey and my truth. Rebecca's Truth and Hope were personified as female. My truth always felt male, while my hope was female. Watching her describe how she'd suppressed her inner self until it broke her relationship made me realize that my flashes of gender insecurity were not phases or obsessions or thought experiments. They are symptoms of something greater. My truth was inspired, and I came out to my boyfriend as non-binary a few hours after watching this show. ... full review

The writing is so moving and yet she sprinkles in gems of humor . The visuals were so clever. The music so memorable. What a great voice she has. Her characters so distinctive. ... full review
