Apocalypse at the Rainforest Cafe is insane, bizarre, and totally nuts. Between the acting, choreography, and the best set design I have seen at Fringe (so far), its clear that this show was made with love, and everyone was having a blast. However, for what is presented in the show, there is a lot of padding, and it has trouble justifying its longer runtime. Overall, its a mixed bag, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't at least have fun. ...

I had ZERO idea what this show was going to be like going in. Someone tried to explain the concept to me verbally and I couldn't wrap my head around it. That is until I SAW and EXPERIENCED the APOCALYPSE in person!!! 10000% BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED. I want to see it again and again....

Delightfully chaotic and absurd. After the first scenes that laid out the basic concept of the plot (the animatronic animals come to life after the wait staff leaves) I initially had a lot of questions about where this story was going. I soon figured that with this production, it’s best to question little and just enjoy the ride as the storyline becomes increasingly absurd. And a fun ride it was, with lots of audience laughter....

What a truly wild experience. This is the effort of people that obviously eat, sleep, and breathe theatre every day. The stage, costumes, and production assault all the senses. You will be entertained, without a doubt....
