I had a feeling I’d like this show the moment I saw the costumed actors entering the theater with all the props. Lots of well choreographed dancing, and I was impressed with how that was managed with so many actors on such a small stage. There were sometimes multiple dialogues or interactions going on between different sets of characters on different parts of the stage, without it ever being too confusing to follow.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything.
My overall impression
Delightfully chaotic and absurd. After the first scenes that laid out the basic concept of the plot (the animatronic animals come to life after the wait staff leaves) I initially had a lot of questions about where this story was going. I soon figured that with this production, it’s best to question little and just enjoy the ride as the storyline becomes increasingly absurd. And a fun ride it was, with lots of audience laughter.
