What I liked

The combined use of visible actors with the puppets added to the characterization. And the simple, yet melodic, songs were so catchy, I found myself humming one of them on my drive home. But best of all, it told a good story in the amount of time given. Well done.

What I didn't like

No production improvements to note. As for scheduling, I wish there were a few more performances left than there are, as I will be recommending this to friends and family.

My overall impression

How refreshing to see a family show at the Hollywood Fringe that is not only nicely performed by a talented cast of pro puppeteers, but also has a well-written story with a great message for both kids and adults. It’s a testament to the show that it appeared to be sold out on a Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. I highly recommend this to everyone, not just for kids, but people in general, ages four to 100. Although I love all types of genres and stories at the Hollywood Fringe, I must say this was a very fun diversion from the usual fare.
