Great, low-key, family-friendly show by Mr. Malcolm and four excellent, expressive puppeteers. At 45 minutes long it moves along quickly enough to keep the little ones entertained. Seems geared at the age 4-8 demographic, introducing kids to the idea that they have big uncomfortable feelings sometimes, and gives them ways to deal with them....

As a board-certified music therapist, I was so thrilled to see young audiences exploring music and theatre (and enjoying it), and not only was that a joy to watch, but this show truly is something special. It's adorable, fun, for kids and a little something for the parents, creative, magical, and a wonderful lesson and masterclass in combining both entertainment and education in a TYA production. Broken down into the simplest of stories, this show engages in the fact that music is so complex and yet so universal. We all thrive through music, but often in different ways. And this show is a truly wonderful experience for all ages....

This is an adorable children’s show with a very important message about the general anxiety kids would feel from time to time. Mr Malcolm has a great way with kids and gets his message through in a way that is relatable to both children and adults. Because he uses rhythm and music as his tools, the songs are cute and catchy. The puppets are wonderfully played with distinct personalities and the story is engaging with enough cheek for even the adults to get a laugh out of....

This was a sweet show with a nice message for kids or anyone! It had that element of humor that kids wouldn't get but parents appreciate, kinda like Sesame Street (though also made the kids laugh too!). It was fast-moving and interactive to keep little kids engaged and the puppeteers were fantastic. ...

Great Show ! The BEST show for younger audiences that I have ever seen in my years of attending the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Anyone and everyone with kids who support live theater should attend this wonderfully put together hour of entertainment with puppets. Older people like myself will appreciate the Nostalgia that comes to mind while watching this performance. Think Captain Kangaroo, The Banana Splits, HR Puffenstuff, Romper Room, and of course that Poppyseed Street. I must admit also that SNL Skit with Bill Hader and Seth McFarnlane with puppets popped into my head during the show. ...

I’m not normally a review writer but Mr. Malcom’s Music Factory was awesome! It brought me back to my childhood in the best ways possible. All of the energy and focus was devoted to kids having a great experience and learning about music and “big feelings.”I write this as my kids are watching Lego Ninjago in the other room and singing and clapping along a whole lot less than they were with Mr. Malcolm and friends… quite a stark contrast and a good reminder that this type of constructive and educational content has to be sought out these days more than it was in the past. My boys were singing in the car on the way home and had a great time. ...
