Go see this play! There is so much here to unpack in a great way. Every character had a dilemma and was truly 3 dimensional. There are no clear "protagonists" and "villains" -- every character had a well thought out set of reasons to have their opinion. So much energy and strong characters in just 80 minutes...

"(It's Been 76 Years and We're) Still Waiting for Lefty" was an incredibly wonderful show, and another jewel to add to Theatre Unleashed's crown of creating thoughtful, interesting, and entertaining pieces of theatre. While I was wary of watching something so tuned in to what is going on in this country (I've been feeling pretty knocked around on all sides from the ever-oppressive news cycle), I was pleasantly surprised that the show, while rightfully angry about the state of things, was first and foremost a theatrical experience, not a diatribe about the ills of society. The acting was uniformly excellent, and Greg Crafts has written a piece with real power to it. ...

The show felt like it was a giant enpathetic hug for all the frustrations we've all been feeling. It was touching, with some funny elements, and I really liked the cast....

Skillfully written and deftly performed. A difficult task, to take on Waiting for Lefty, but it was done here with great thought and some insight. Wonderful performances from a strong ensemble added to the overall experience....
