Veronica is a GEM. Not only is she funny and fearless, but her story is one that I loved seeing on the stage. Though her story at times deals with some heavy elements, she's able to find the light in the darkness and still make everyone laugh. ... full review

This show is my favorite show I have seen so far. Beyond! It is so refreshing to see a show where the writing keeps the character in active tense pursuing a simple goal, with such skill, vulnerability, and clarity. I laughed the whole way through and then on the other side of the laugh some poignant snuck in my soul. I laughed. I cried. Go see this show!... full review

What a joy to watch Veronica become herself before our eyes! I could watch her onstage telling any story, but the fact that her story was so personal and educational makes it even more powerful. Her humor and bright energy are both palpable and just so darn enjoyable.... full review

Solo show director Jessica Lynn Johnson has found another butterfly ready to break out of its cocoon and show the rest of us how to honestly depict their personal journey of self-realization. Veronica Carey definitely opened my eyes to how her gender decision-making process grew out of learning to cross-dress during the pandemic, shut in and watching You Tube videos all day. Her and his journey into acceptance of being non-binary was just the first step into the battle going on inside of how to live truthfully in her feminine soul while stuck in a man's world. Eye-opening and entertaining from start to finish.... full review

This is easily the most genuine and vulnerable performance I have ever seen anywhere. Veronica’s show is inspiring because she highlights, so honestly, the insecurities that come with her story. Insecurities, most of us are not brave enough to say out loud, let alone in front of an audience. ... full review

Absolutely hysterical and also strikingly profound, this show is worth a watch (or two or three). Even with Veronica's journey being different than my own, I found myself engaged with how relatable this journey is to me, but in entirely different ways.... full review

The show was funny, insightful, and honest. Veronica brings us down the very personal transition path of her journey and shares with us all the ups and downs. She really brought it all out on stage. ... full review
