What I liked

Rebecca was connected with her stories and characters throughout the show. She painted a vivid, moving portrait of what it’s like to ride a city bus and encounter the off-beat denizens of Los Angeles. The show made me laugh and tear up frequently. It was also very well paced.

What I didn't like

I know she has more stories because I heard other tales in previous performances I’d seen that I did not see the night I went to this Fringe show. So, it’s not really that anything needs to be improved, but she could share some of those other stories as well. In fact, I was surprised when we got to the end of the show because the hour seemed to go by so quickly. I wasn’t quite ready for it to end! Maybe there’s room for a couple more characters.

My overall impression

I had seen parts of this show before, so I knew it was going to be funny. What got me though was how emotional and touching the show was. Rebecca draws you in with her impersonations of the people she meets on the bus and then laughs along with you at their quirky personalities. Then through her own emotional responses, she makes the audience really care about these people. Brilliant!
