Grab on to your …everything because this show is gonna take you on an emotional rollercoaster. Raw, vulnerable, funny, open. Heather has crafted a fine piece of theatre. I tried to hold back the tears, but she got me. She got most of us in the audience. It’s the story of ending up with a life that you never could have imagined for yourself and how you keep it moving, no matter what is thrown your way. ... full review

A marital betrayal serves as the catalyst for a woman to realize the controlling rules she has lived under all her life, and to discover how to begin to break from them.... full review

Heather’s show had me completely absorbed from lights up. She simply pulls you in. I laughed and I also cried. I could honestly watch her perform for hours on end. The show is well-written and traverses a lot of deep ground, but easily floats back up to the surface where she uses her real life experience as an automotive expert to contain a love and life story tragedy in a metaphorical box. Speaking of boxes, her use of them, and what’s in them, is equally beautiful. Heather is also an extraordinary performer. I drove down from Berkeley to see Title Pending. I would have driven from the East Coast. It’s really that good and that great. If you’ve ever been betrayed indeed, this will hit you where it once hurt, and give you a chance to maybe ... full review

A brilliant look at the heartbreak of covert infidelity in a marriage that was supposed to be forever. It is a lightbulb moment in the way it forces us all to acknowledge that we are all vulnerable to how pain, loss, failure, disappointment and grief can lead us to transformation and our true self. Heather Tyson is a skilled actor and storyteller who invites us in to feel part of her journey. She is thrilling to watch as she emotionally traverses the map of this challenging touch into her journey. I look forward to seeing how this piece grows in the future. ... full review

Touching, emotional, funny, well acted. Title Pending is a wonderful solo show which follows Heather through the emotionally brutal realization her husband is not the person she believed he was. It is cleverly executed and ultimately heart wrenching. Really liked this show and appreciated the honesty and execution. I laughed, I cried, I was pulled into the story and you will be too! Great show!... full review

This show was OUTSTANDING! Heather drew us in, held on, and didn't let go. Her story and her telling of it were brilliant. It requires a lot of a person to stand in front of an audience for a full hour and both bear their soul and hold our unwavering attention at the same time. Heather did this flawlessly. BRAVO!! A standing ovation well deserved!!... full review

From the start, I was engaged. Heather is so likable that I would go along for any ride she wanted to take me on--which she did. Heather was in the driver's seat of this emotional ride that was not only about her life in relation to boxes (whether it be checking them off or filling them up or getting rid of them) but also about unrealized expectations. For me, that's where the tragedy and the comedy meet, making this piece so strong and heartfelt. While some writers/performers could easily come off as "woe as me" for similar circumstances to hers, Heather doesn't. Not once. Instead, through reflection and her own observations, she steers the course and takes control of the wheel (I'm using the driving metaphor obviously for a reason), and by... full review
