LOVE the storyline between David and his mother — its so touching, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. But I also love how he hits us with a HILARIOUS bit about accidentally stumbling upon his relatives’ sex toys.

My overall impression
This is my second time seeing this show and it’s just as moving and heartfelt as the first time a saw it. David is an enigmatic performer, thoroughly entertaining and often hilarious. But his storytelling is also poignant, giving us an inside look at the brave but heavy burden of his role as a caregiver for his ailing family members. It’s truly an “adventure” — but more importantly, an gut-wrenching journey of how he ultimately comes to terms with loss, grief and a finding his own path forward.
