What I liked
The lead as Nikki has a very easy confidence fitting for the character. He rolls through each scene as though he were made for this role. The quick transitions with the use of a brief chapter-head narration was very effective to cover the long expanse of the band’s career.
What I didn't like
Can’t think of a thing. This work does what it need to do.
My overall impression
This was a very loving and completely unauthorized tribute to one of the most iconic bands of the 80s LA scene. A very fast moving trip through the history of a band known for not giving a fuck. Well played with a large cast who both know and love the material they are working with.
