I loved it! Crude is gritty, funny, and fun, with a great soundtrack & sharp performances. Lots of tidbits for the heads, while still being accessible for newcomers. There's also a cool, "spooky" vibe that pervades the show. They don't make Hollywood stories like these anymore. See it if you can!... full review

Well written and executed. Great performances by everyone especially Ryan! No wonder this show sold out so many times and so quickly. Enjoyed it very much and highly recommend! ... full review

I was impressed by the original spin of this classic rock ‘n’ roll story that manages to pay tribute to the real band and its history while also having tremendous fun in the creative retelling.... full review

Great show.. well done. Definitely worth a see. As everyone knows Fringe shows can run hot to cold. This one is definitely one of the hot ones. Well written, well portrayed. ... full review

Being a lifelong “Mostly Crude” fan, I know most of the stories and history behind the band. It was entertaining to see these stories I had only heard about, or read about, come to life onstage. ... full review

Did not know what to expect going into this show, but I was intrigued by the premise and controversy I read about the production. The show was really good, but the real revelation was Ryan Ruffing, who's image graces the poster. He really stood out, possessing a balance of pathos, humor and sadness that had me in every scene. He owned this character and the stage at every turn. He's clearly an actor on the rise and this show gives him an incredible platform for his talents.... full review

I do not know Mostly Crude but I believe it to be a quite accurate portrayal of the ills of being a Rock star. David put together quite a story line.... full review

As someone who possesses little knowledge of the history of the band upon which Mostly Crude is allegedly based, I cannot comment on the play's accuracy. I can, however, comment on its entertainment value, which it brought forth in spades! It's a tale of success and tragedy, pride and rebellion. That's a lot to pack into an hour! One can see that this was written as a labor of love and, with due respect to the other players, Ryan Ruffing's performance as "Niky" owns the show from beginning to end.... full review

Very interesting story of the rise and fall of a cultural phenomenon. Great cast, but Ryan Ruffing stood out and kept the show moving full throttle. ... full review
