Deconstructing Holly

It’s not often you get to see someone willingly break themselves apart in front of your eyes for the purposes of not only personal catharsis, but to also share the very important lesson of how only you can define you. Solo shows often include the artist revealing themselves in front of an audience, but I’ve never seen anyone do it more real and raw than powerhouse performer Holly Sidell in “Deconstructing Holly.” Without giving too much away, it was incredible to watch Holly as she explored the loss of all that she thought made her a woman, through laughter and tears, not knowing where she was going to come out on the other side. Deconstructing Holly is amazing! It’s Full of beautiful and passionate storytelling by a very talented actress Holly Seidel. I laughed and cried all at the same time. I strongly suggest seeing this show in person instead of streaming to see & feel the passion that Holly pours into it. ( but if you can’t come in person… Please stream it - you won’t wanna miss out) I highly recommend Deconstructing Holly as one of the shows not to miss in the festival. Bravo and congratulations! Deconstructing Holly is a tight, professional, funny and deeply moving experience. Holly Sidell gives a tour de force performance embodying a range of characters, shifting easily from one to the other, traversing emotional highs and lows as she goes. I found I carried the experience of the performance with me all day, and I hope she gets the full houses she deserves.... full review

Holly Sidell is wonderful! Her monologues are great. She’s a terrific actress in every way. What a survivor and bold to make Art out of her life. As soon as the show is over you have two thoughts - one, you really have no real problems. And two, you want to give Holly a big hug. You will love Holly! Great job Directing, Jonathan Fahn.
