BRILLIANT, I've seen Samantha's performances for many years. The most recent being tremendously powerful. This production far exceeded them all.... full review

One of the best pieces of theater I have seen in a long time! Samantha is incredible . The writing is absolutely beautiful and profound. Samantha’s performance is grounded and absolutely riveting. I wept like a little baby. This is a must see. Give her all the awards!... full review

The show was EXTRAORDINARY. I don’t say that lightly. I could hear people holding in sobs from every corner of the theatre. And yes, I too was crying. But it’s not all tears — Sam takes you from laughter to “aww” to “holy cow that just changed my life” constantly and beautifully. Truly 10/10. ... full review

It’s so hard to put in words the many deep emotions I experienced during this show. It was the most powerful and vulnerable show I’ve had the pleasure of seeing. I truly walked away changed forever. Sam invites everyone to be vulnerable and guides you through tough topics and feelings. All in the name of bringing mental illness, depression, and trauma into the light. Giving a new perspective of understanding and breaks down stigmas. Samantha is a genius writer, actor and being. This show needs to be seen. ... full review

This One Woman show was delightful, funny, provocative, sweet, sincere and deeply moving. Beautifully emotional story of love, friendship, loss, and life. From the first tap and strum to the final bow Samantha had me hooked. The top of my recommendations list. Congratulations. ... full review

An incredible accomplishment—Samantha’s vulnerability, honesty, and grace bring the audience on a humorous and heartfelt journey alongside her. Finding the humor in loss and trauma, presenting it with so much compassion for herself and Brit, and the audience, helps us come through our own experiences with more empathy and stability. I’m so appreciative of the time I got to spend with Samantha, her guardian angel, and Brit, her comedy partner and right hand lady in absentia. ... full review

Stunning. The space was perfect for a show like this. Intimate, exposing, dangerous. I absolutely loved it. This is an ambitious project written and performed by an artist who truly has something to say... and sing. Yup, as soon as I sat in the audience I spotted an amp and instruments on one side of the stage and a fallen microphone stand and a lonely pair of shoes on the other side, I wondered how this was all going to play out. Samantha weaves in and out of archetypal characters all in hot pursuit of her and of their own worldly connection, if that makes any sense? The show is a constant deep dive into humanity (and you'll understand the pun once you see this performance). If you enjoy theater that is challenging and uncomfortable and com... full review

A show weaved together so gently and beautifully that it breathed on its own. Samantha not only "entertained" us with her quick-witted jokes, musical numbers, and character switch-ups - she also brought us on a journey so powerful that it left everyone with a new reverence for life. ... full review
