Up until seeing this show, The Grail Project, I had only seen one piece of theatre dealing with the legends of King Arthur that seemed actually "good." Now I have seen two! I had never also heard of this specific troupe/ensemble, the Theatre Movement Bazaar, aptly named and based on this show at least belonging in those theatrical troupes I follow eagerly! Written by Richard Alger, directed by Tina Kronis, this show re-invents/de-constructs the tale of Camelot and the Quest for the Holy Grail through about a dozen different lenses, each complementary as well as delightful. Folk music, elaborate dance/movement pieces, corporate planning sessions, feminist conspiracies--all fodder in a roller coaster of intertwined plotlines and ch... full review

The best Fringe show I've seen so far. A wonderfully entertaining, whip-smart distillation of the Grail mythos through a modern lens told with the help of incredible music, choreography, comedy, and dynamic performances from a diverse and deeply talented ensemble.... full review

This has been my absolute favourite Fringe show so far. Everything is so clean and crisp yet there is so much play within the ensemble. The movement was very well choreographed and ensemble performed it beautifully. ... full review

Fantastic as always! There's so much to unpack that I might have to watch it a third time. It's a quest for a grail like none other, and it's just the kind of quest I'm looking for. I love how they convey so much information about desires, goals, relationships, politics etc.. and they do so by not only using language, but song, dance, gestures, rhythm and more. Never a dull moment, and packed with wonderful messages. This will probably be one of the best shows I'll see at Fringe. Lots of talented people putting in their all on this quest! Bravo! And I can't wait for the GATSBY PROJECT!!!!! ... full review

Entertaining and thought provoking! I have a familiarity with the Arthurian legends -- knowingly nodding or chuckling when the various characters are introduced and act as they are fated to -- and am curious how someone might react with no previous exposure.... full review
