TransActions is a collection of both comedic and dramatic one- act plays that deal with LGBTQ issues including gender identity, career, sexual desires, self acceptance, and relationships. The five plays are: “Alexis” by Louise Hung and Michael Mullen (a family drama about twin brothers- one is straight and has to come to terms with his twin who has come out as transgender), “A Song For Jenny” by Gwen Hollander and Michael Mullen (a comedy about a male casting assistant who decides to sabatoge an actress in order to steal her potential movie role), “Outside, Looking In” by Michael David (a drama about a middle-aged woman who hires a female prostitute in order to fulfill a long-time sexual fantasy), “Nirvana” by Michael Mullen (a comedy about a lesbian who develops feelings for her male gay best friend), and “I Feel Like A Woman” by Michael Mullen (a drama about a man coming to terms with both sides of his gender).
